Hi people. Yes it's been a long, long time since i've updated my blog. Last month was a killer... thank God June's gone.

My bro's been following me along to attend church services. Hope he'll get to learn of the grace of God and hopefully Jesus will take over to be the Master of his life one day.

Work's getting hectic. My boss had decided to have all the major work to be handled in KL thus the crazy workload... we definately need more manpower.

Kim went for a photo shoot out. Ling (Drako'Zen Official Make-up Artist) selected him to be this week's portfolio model and photo shooting (poor lab mouse!). The theme is "Rounin" which means the Samurai who had lost his Lord. Reiki lend him his Keiko-Gi , Hakama and Katana for the photo shooting. Normally , Rounin is wearing a broken cloths, full of mustache and beard , dirty hair. Kim is too clean and pretty, some point doesn't looks like a Rounin but looks like a Rich Gentlemen. Ling had prepaid a few tools for video shooting too, it is a fan and a ancient umbrella . Too bad we didn't have the Japanese Style Old Wine Bottle. The photograph that taken by Pro photograpgher in the studio is not finish editing yet . Anyhow, please have a looks about the picture which taken by Reiki's camera.

I personally don't like the local music scene, and never support any local music talents. I've tried, bought a few local demo CDs... but honestly i think they are crap, and the demos are not cheap either.

Anyway, this band earned my respect, period.

Meet Drako'Zen, Malaysia's one and only authentic Visual Kei band. Don't worry if you've never heard of them on air or stuff like that, because the local media authorities wouldn't be too pleased.

Here's the 5 lads.

Drako'Zen was founded by Reiki on June 2007. Ving was the second member to joined in, who Reiki happens to knew him through a forum. Both of them happened to have the same interest on music and decided to start this band. Later the two brothers, Kim and Meo joined the band as guitarist and bassist while Ivan the drummer was the last to joined the band, who happens to be an old friend of Reiki’s.Drako’Zen plays hardrock , heavy metal , nu-metal and rock ballad music. Their image is considered as Visual-Kei.

Reiki - Vocalist

Born in Perak but grew up in Shah Alam, extremely fluent in Japanese.

Fell in love with rock music influence by his favourite idol Bon Jovi.

He used to be a drummer before he became the vocalist.

His ex-band mates forced him to become the vocalist because he is fluent in Japanese and understands each line and the feelings of the song he sings. He has the most gifted voice of a JRock vocalist should have and I extremely agree to that.

Ving - Guitarist

Born in Kuala Lumpur, loves all kind of rock music, working as an animator designer.

He admires Steve Vai since high school and he used to be a drummer before he became the guitarist.

Into JRock because JRock is something totally different from western music.

Kim - Guitarist

Born in Kuala Lumpur and studying in a design college.

Interested in JRock because of his influence by guitarist Hisashi from GLAY and Sugizo from LUNA SEA. (Same as me?!)

He is talented in composing.

He is Meo’s elder brother.

He is the prettiest male I've ever seen. He is so cute on stage! (The pics are not doing him justice)

Meo - Bassist (ignore Ving haha)

Kim’s younger brother.

Born in Kuala Lumpur

He is into hardcore and rock music.

He is influenced by his elder brother, Kim and fell in love with JRock.

Ivan - Drummer

Born in Johore Bahru, have a lot of experience in playing in a band.

He used to teach drums in Johore Bahru Yamaha music school.

His favourite JRock band of all time is L’Arc~en~Ciel when he was in university.

He started playing the drums influence of his favourite L’Arc~en~Ciel member Yukihiro.

Even thought he is a drummer, he is quite talented on other instruments.

Emerald's new Dragon - Bahamut

Check this guitar out, this is one of the craziest and amazing guitars I think I have ever seen. How many guitars have you seen that can stand up on their own feet? their Dragon feet! This incredible creation is the latest guitar from Emerald Guitars Custom Shop which is a Dragon called Bahamut. The exciting thing is that the new Taiwanese owner Lee Hom ordered this guitar as a special centre piece for his world tour after seeing The Alien on Guitar Noize! Now the Alien was pretty amazing in itself but I can’t even comprehend how a guitar like this is created.

“The body is a chinese dragon that is twisted into the shape of a treble cleff and to top it all off we added another little dragon on the headstock. The body is hand shaped out of a special foam and then covered in carbon fibre to keep it both light and strong. The body is then completed with a special chrome paint that gives a beautiful metal look. Of course there always has to be a little something extra and in this case it is the red lasers in the eyes. on stage with some smoke these just look amazing.”

A fruitful day

Gospel sharing can happen anywhere, any time, any location. It happens especially when you least expected it. All praises and honor to God, I shared the gospel to a friend of mine. My little friend bugged me last night after I went home so we had a light chat on the phone, which was kinda superficial (I feel bad) cos I couldn’t wait to go to bed after a night’s bowling game which made me tired. But anyway thank God for the opportunity. I couldn’t have felt happier.

I couldn’t exactly recall how our conversation ended up into evangelism, but I remembered it was something like this: we talked about human nature, dependencies and securities of this world, then this thought came across my mind and I asked her:

” Are you a religious person?”
“Nope.”
“So who do you put your trust on?”
“Myself.”
“Ok, good to know that you are self-dependent (laughs)”
nod*nod* teehee...
“Alright. I’m sure you are a capable person, especially for a girl. But let’s say if there’s suddenly one thing which you can do nothing about, who will you look for help?”
“You.”
“(Laughs) I would definitely love to, but what if I’m not able to help you? What if not even a single person in this whole wide world is not able to help?”
stunned*long pause*”
“yer…How?”

and that’s how the story begins =)

Thank you God for the weekly Sunday Service messages, bible studies, youth fellowships, especially Sunday school practices which helped me very much to convey the message in a simplest manner and yet still conforming to the 5 points of Calvinism a.k.a Christian ISO hehe…

I think I “hit” her real hard on some points such as “Your sins are like vomit placed before God: utterly disgusting, repulsive, unsightly”, ”If you think you are steadily paving your way to Heaven, I’m sorry to tell you that you are full speed on a highway heading to hell.” “Ask yourself about your greatest fear, now multiply it by ten times, and add the word “eternity” to it.” I think she almost broke down into tears.

But of course, God is always merciful and ready to forgive and the Good News did made her see life in a whole new perspective: how the world define sin compared to God’s standards, The Creator who created heaven and earth and the whole universe: all-knowing and all-powerful, therefore fear Him and Him only and those fears whose snare used to be upon you will no longer be your bondage, everything in Heaven will be beyond comparison to earthly standards, beyond our human comprehension and best of all, safe and sound and finally re-united with our Creator eternally. I believed that the message brought great joy and hope to her, even a very fresh reminder to myself of the awe of God's definition of character.

But all this I thank God that she listened patiently and was in a good spirit throughout the whole conversation, until I realized it was almost 3am and I really need to call it a day. Anyway, that really wraps up what I would call a fruitful day =)

Although Christmas has passed quite a long bit but I would like to share what I've received =) This is probably the most unexpected but most exciting Christmas gift I've ever had! Finally a Full grid of SUPERGT mod for GTR2!

It's not just a game: it's modelled accurately, if not exactly how the actual machine would perform in real life: the modeling, interior, top speed, handling charateristics and even the engine sounds of the machines are accurately reproduced. Now i can finally have an idea how driving a NSX, Supra or 350Z Race machine feels like haha.

Before I forgot, all credit and kudos to the genius Juice Bottle-san for building this fantastic mod from scratch! Arigatou!

2008 recap

I sincerely thank God for His grace and providence while still preserving my faith and providing a godly church for me to attend to. God doesn't need such a useless and unfaithful person as me, therefore I am speechless and grateful beyond words.

I've failed God severely this year:

many opportunities had been given but wasted due to my intentional ignorances, irresponsibility and immaturity. Can relate myself to the sentence:"Casting pearls before the swine". Felt greatly ashamed even as i'm writing but needed to force myself to face my mistakes and not to repeat them in the future. Had my fair share of heartaches and disappointments but i'm fine now, it's just part of life's learning experience. Thank God for the healing and the strength to move on. Time to go back to the drawing board to prepare for 2009 season. A great deal of repentance is required.

I do not wish to give up. Not now, not tomorrow, not under any circumstances... never!
May God grant me this wish, if this is what I'm allowed to hope for.

I longed for a life of freedom, freedom to do what is right, freedom in Jesus Christ.

But God You are Holy, and a disgustingly filthy creature like me have no position in Your Palace.

COSMOSCAPE

The cover of COSMOSCAPE features SUGIZO in profile, with one wing curled over his back; an elegant and simple black and white photo. The album opens with a similarly elegant song. COSMOSCAPE, the first and title track, weaves beautiful guitarwork through a steady melody, leading the listener into a sense of ease. Next comes TELL ME WHY?, a song with a faster beat and a bit of a dance/industrial sound to it. The vocal elements of this track add that little something extra that make it stand out in the album, while the violin helps tie in the more mellow tone carried throughout.

The guitar in THE CAGE has a bit more of a rock sound to it, with a prominent but gentle beat that creates a flowing transition into KANON. The English lyrics to KANON are a bit poetic; however, the female voice stands out the most in the rest of the album.

EUROPA features a strong bassline throughout, with a lazy and almost monotonal guitar that gains tension in the next song, Le Fou. Flowing violin notes dance through the suspenseful guitar in Le Fou like a gentle breeze, before both sounds drop away into the next song. DELIVER... is another song featuring vocals as a dominant part of the track, and this time it fits the music much better, with the voice blending with the music rather than standing separate from it. The sound of this song almost has a jazz club feel to it, broken up with short, understated guitar screams.

Electric guitar is the base of Elan Vital, showcasing SUGIZO's talent to perfection; this song is possibly the strongest in guitar on the album. SUGIZO's violin has a strong presence in the next track, Rest In Peace & Fly Away, emphasizing the stark beauty of the song. RISE brings back the electric guitar, and a catchy, danceable beat, with overlaying vocals that only add to the atmosphere of the song.

INITIATION slides by smoothly into SWEET, an aptly titled, upbeat song with well-executed vocals that will leave listeners with some positive energy. akai umi to kuro no sora no soryouchi and VOICE both carry a similar feel-good sound, bringing COSMOSCAPE closer to the final song, Synchronicity.

Whether or not SUGIZO purposely saved the best for last, Synchronicity is there. The eerie beauty of Synchronicity comes from the vivid cries of the violin, which are underscored by acoustic guitar and filled by sound effects that are reminiscent of running water. This song also serves in bringing COSMOSCAPE full circle, closing the album with a sound similar to the opening track.

Even legends like SUGIZO have their flaws, but overall, COSMOSCAPE is a strong album. It showcases the best of SUGIZO's work and flows between songs with a smoothness that's admirable. It's a marriage made in heaven between rock and SUGIZO's amazing violin.

95' Mugen Dome Avex Honda NSX

Fulfilled one of my dreams during my work break which i wanted to do in 10 years back.This is a Tamiya 1/24 scale model of the 95' Mugen Dome Avex Honda NSX, one of the first generation NSXs who participated in the Japan Grand Touring Championship (JGTC) during the 90's. Honda entered a fleet of 3 NSX machines to battle against the powerful Supras of Toyota and highly advanced GTRs of Nissan. The early generation NSXs suffered the lack of topend speed compared turbocharged engines of Toyota and Nissan as their engines are natural aspirated but made up with their excellent cornering abilities due to their mid engine-rearwheel drive layout. This helps the NSX to achieve high cornering speeds while maintaining cornering stability thanks to the highly effective aeroparts designed and built by DOME which generates huge amounts of downforce to keep the car on the track. This proved to be quite an advantage for the NSXs in technical tracks such as Suzuka, Sugo, Autopolis and Okayama. The other NSX teams consists of Raybrig and Mobil1.

Was quite a challenge assembling this model as it was quite detailed starting from the engine compartment to the detailed interior and the stickers.

After lunch she was heading down to Sitiawan to do some stock ordering checks in the departmental stores there. Accompanied her along as i also wanted to visit Teluk Batik beach, which i haven't been since the last 8 years. She was done at 6pm and we were getting hungry. Nikki suggested to have dinner in Lumut as she recommended that there's a jetty called Lumut Waterfront which has a nice view beside the sea.

Reached there at 7pm, a bit late but was worth the 1 hour detour. Smelled the used-to-be-so-familiar sea and felt the breeze. Brings back the memories where i used to go fishing here with dad every weekend.

Cameron trip

Went to Cameron Highlands for a day's trip on the first day of Raya back in Ipoh. Nikki kept on insisting that there's a secret BOH tea plantation site called Sungei Palas Boh plantation which is much cooler than the one in Tanah Rata and Brinchang and she had never got the chance to drive up there so we decided to go up there and check it out. After a traveling back and forth we were getting frustrated and i told her that there's no such thing as i've been there a zillion times and i've never heard of such a thing. Apparently i was wrong. After hours of hunting and asking the locals around we managed to catch the sign board heading towards there, and boy was the road dangerous, not to mention her driving style which scared the life out of me (i never had faith in female drivers anyway). We had to squeeze through the narrow path through Nikki's white myvi with 2 way traffic through a half an hour drive into the interior, but i can assure you it was worth the trouble.

Had our lunch + tea. The place was packed full of people as it was during lunch hour. We had no choice but to temporarily sit in a crappy spot facing the bar. It was not long when Nikki lost her patience and decided to grab the corner of the balcony which has the best viewing spot. If was funny looking at her competing with the other guys who were also eying for that spot. After a long grueling battle with other guys she manage to grab the table! So we celebrated the "victory" by sitting there for 5 hours eating, drinking tea and talking crap but it was fun lol.It was not long after we decided to have a picture taking contest while trying out our phone's panorama mode. Turned out to be quite crappy.Got a nice view of the place at 4 pm. Apparently we were the only one there. Sigh, the peace and quiet and stillness... if only this was my balcony haha.A final side view pic of the tea house before we head back to Ipoh. Bye bye Cameron.

Sometimes the terms seemed so relevant and normal to other people where it never makes sense to me. My ideas never make sense to people and they question my working ability. Perhaps not a suitable job? It's only a polite way of saying that i suck. I know i shouldn't be worrying about this but currently it's just a bit too headache for me to think logically right now. New start at BASF

I used to pass by this cool building called Menara Telekom every morning when i took LRT to college. Everytime i pass by i will stare at it for a moment and in my head I will be like, "those people are so lucky to be working in such a cool place". Never in my mind would i know that the new company BASF that i'm joining in is located there. Boy am i surprised.

First day was really anticipating. Got up extra early, you know, just in case. Always a BIG no-no to be late on the first day at work. Don't ever do that. Registered my temporary pass and id, took the lift and headed to the 25th floor. Recorded my attendance at the reception and wait for my supervisor to bring me in. I waited, and i waited, and i waited..... and i waited after an hour later, my boss finally arrived (haha) and brought me in. You'd be surprised that she wasn't the only one who came in late-2 other supervisors came in after her. Anyway I was brought to my workspace to put down my stuff and my boss took me around the building for a tour. Met my new colleagues: nice and wierd (yes) people.

The interior of the building is jaw-dropping C O O L. I feel like i'm working in a spaceship or spacestation or something. There are 3 levels and the level i'm in is made up of 2 departments- IT and HRS. It is linked by a glass-walled pantry which overlooks the entire KL city including our famous Petronas Twin Towers and KL Tower. The pantry has a glass door which leads to an open-air balcony so big it can place 9 cafe tables for us to hang out and have lunch. And the best thing is my cubicle is located beside the window and the cool view is just beside me. Talk about a great and efficient stress relieveing by just taking a short stare outside the window into the breathtaking scenery and KL city skyline.

Well, according to my schedule my first month will be training based- i'll be studying the HR procedures and workflows plus getting used to my interested stuff- SAP. I got to know that my current jobscope will be wide, really wide. I'll be working as a Human Resource Analyst - cum -payroll transfer - SAP admin -cum- simple internal application developer and Email watchdog. I'm really happy to get to hit the slides and powerpoints again. Missed studying so much since my college days.

Well heads up next month is the beginning of me getting on board in the team, and i already know what to expect. Good Lord have mercy and please guide me.

This has probably got to be the best Chinese New Year of my life for the last 24 years. For the first time my relatives from Australia, Hong Kong and Macau came back to have a full family reunion to celebrate the festive season together in full classic CNY spirit. CNY never felt better.

One of the highlights of the month which makes it even more joyful is that God blessed me a new job. I'd never expect to be able to get a job within a month, especially this position as i wasn't really as qualified as i should be. Anyway i really thank God for it, and i will definately work in humility and gratitude. It also marks the end of my first year working and i was gladly taking a break before i resume my next job. Thank You Lord.

One of the funny things that I can remember is I was ruthlessly compared to my much more muscular and well-built Australian cousin. I was constantly being thrown questions such as whether I was living in poverty in KL or whether I was skipping my meals for obvious reasons or another, which clearly wasn't the case, and it can get pretty annoying. But I can't deny the fact that I clearly looked like a chopstick standing next to him. What the heck...

Surely all good things must come to an end, and CNY went past as quickly as it came, and it was just a week away from starting my first day working in my new company. This has been a great new year, and probably one of the best I ever had.

End of my first year working

Was certainly busy packing up my stuff and getting my appropriate documents done. Yup, i've completed my 1st year contract as a help desk in IBM.

How's my first official full-time job? Well it's simple but it ain't easy. I wouldn't say that it has been quite a challenge and it did change and broaden my views on living a working lifestyle. There were the good and bad moments just like everything else.

Being in Nokia was a total hell. Took me 4 months to get to understand how the whole system and procedures work. Everyday was a challenge for me to go to work, mentally and physically. Colleagues ain't helping much to ease the pain. Took a real strain on me in my spiritual walk as well especially during my 2 months working in shift. Really thank GOD for His divine grace and forgiveness to sustain and keep me back on track with my faith.

Sad but surely a blessing in disguise came after half a year when i was transfered to another project known as the National Health Group project. Inside my head was like "You must have screwed something up or you ain't good enough that's why you got kicked off from the coolest project in IBM. You're a loser." Deep down inside i knew that wasn't the case, but it really did took a while to shake that stupid thought off. Well thank God it did went off and i learn to accept the situation as it is and concentrate on what i need to do. Honestly working in NHG was much, much easier and straight forward compared to Nokia and i got to work with a team of a bunch of cool people who never fail to brighten me up everyday and ease the pressure off my back. I know it sounds wierd but working in NHG really feels like a working holiday.

I will never forget my farewell dinner with my colleagues. Thank you guys. You guys are the greatest. I'll be coming back soon and will not miss the "yee sang" session. Gonna miss you guys alot.

Well all things come to an end. Slowly but surely my contract has ended and due to some circumstances i've decided that i should move on to look for another job. I know exactly what i want in my mind, now all i can do is do what i can and may God open a path for me. I'm praying.

The three manufacturers of SUPER GT, Honda, Nissan, and Toyota, participated in a 5-day test session held at Sepang International Circuit in Malaysia from the 14th to 18th of January. All the machines that traveled for the test were of GT500 class. Honda Racing brought two NSX's (No.1 & 18), NISMO with three GT-R's (No.22, 23 & 230), and TRD and TOM'S each brought a SC430 (No.36 & 430), making it a total of seven SUPER GT machines. All cars tested new aero parts and tires for the '08 season.

Apparently Toyota set the fastest lap time under 1'54.781, followed by Nissan with 1'55.004 and Honda 1'55.725.

Looks like Honda will have a tough 2008 season.

Nissan will be replacing their worn out 350Z with their new R35 Skyline machine. The Nissan teams suffered badly last year with a 3rd place standing in 2007 SuperGT season due to nagging mechanical issues and lacked pace. Hope that Nissan can give their fellow competitors Toyota and Honda a good challenge with this mean looking machine. Looks promising this year.

2007 soon came to an end. Time just flies faster and faster. Give thanks to God for preserving me throughout the year. This marks the 1st year i've came out to work. Had some interesting events and moments: Moments of gladness and regret, moments of great joy and great sorrow, moments of great achievement and great disappointment.

One of the highlights is i've left LEASH for good and i decided that i won't be playing in a band anymore. After 8 years of pursuing my passion i've come to realize that no matter how hard i try or how much effort, heart and soul i've poured in, the more the disappointment and discouragement I get in return. I can only see my goal drifting further and further away. Although too disappointed to acknoledge it, but I finally accepted that fact that it will never happen and it will never meant to be. Realizing that i'm no longer young anymore and it's pointless to continue on something that i don't believe in, I've accepted the fact and decided to move on and focus on other more important issues in life that i need to do.

Akira died along the end of 2007 at the age of 23.

Whether i'm ready or not, it's 2008 now. And i need to focus on the things i need to to do and to get right in this year. Can't be discouraged with all the disappointments of the past. life goes on. Gotta gather myself up. Good Lord have mercy on me.

Christmas

Hadn't been updating this thing for some time. Not that i'm extremely busy or something: sometimes, but there's just really nothing interesting to write about.

Christmas was fine. Did my last minute Christmas shopping after work. 2 sisters announced their testimony and got baptized on Christmas day. Was kinda hot though. Weather was scorching hot. Kinda tired and sleepy after the cleaning and mopping. Went back for a nap till it rained in the evening. Went for dinner with housemate in Chillis to celebrate Christmas. Was kinda funny though we were starving and my friend was wondering whether the serving is big enough for him until his meal came. He could barely finish more than 50% of the plate haha. Think he'll never underestimate Chillis again. Chilled out and had a couple of drinks there (iced lemon tea) and called it a night. Christmas passed by peacefully just like that.

Found a permanent guitarist to secure the 2nd guitar position in Leash. A 21 year old Taiwanese studying in ICOM known as Raven. Met up with him to have a drink and discuss about the band stuff. Quite a nice guy and speaks beautiful mandarin. Cool looking and plays promising guitar. Goes to church too. Looking forward to this coming practice with him.

My body radiator finally gave up. Physically and mentally exhausted. Ended up falling sick yesterday. I knew it was going to come. Been extremely busy for the last 2 weeks pushing myself to the max. Nearly doze off on the steering wheel while driving my way home. Visited the panel clinic after fetching 33 and went straight to bed until next day morning. I was so blur i set my alarm to 8 PM instead of AM and ended up late for work today. But is was also good in a way as i had ample time off for a good night's rest last night. hopefully will be able to recover soon by today.

I always love him more than I love my mom. He is always the one I respect, and never fight back every word he says. He seldom scolds me, seldom hits me.
He will always get me what I want, treat me like his little princess.
Although I always cry because I fight with my brother and my mom scolds me, but he will always be the one who cheer me up.
I always feel that my mom don’t like me, and the one who love me most is him.

There is once when I fight with my friends in the school, I cried, and I called him.
He come to my school straight away, and see how am I.
He came all the way, just to make me feel better.

Being the very forgetful me, I always forget to buy my things which I need.
When I remember, it will be at night already, and he will be sleeping.
I will stand beside his bed, walk up and down, up and down, and think of a way to wake him up. I am very afraid that he might get angry because he is sleeping.
But he will never get angry at me, and fetch me to buy my things.

I remember the day that my mom tell me he has cancer, a serious one.
I was just 11 at that time, what can I do to actually help him??
I couldn’t do anything for him. I see him suffer.
He gets so thin and weak, and I almost cry everyday.
He vomits every time he eats his medicine. I can see that he is really in a lot of pain.
He is send to the hospital, because he is unconscious.
When I reach the hospital, I heard him screaming when the doctor inject him, and I cry uncontrollably. I couldn’t see him suffer. I couldn’t take the pain anymore.
It is so hard for me. So hard..

I remember that night, I don’t know why there are so many relatives in my house.
I woke up, to see what is happening.
My dad is unconscious again, and stand beside him, holding his hand so tight.
I keep on calling him, but he didn’t respond. I don’t know whether he know I am there or not. I saw his tears flow from his eyes. I keep on calling him, but he didn’t look at me.

The next day when I woke up, I saw the furnitures is all moved away. I keep on asking what is happening, and no one answer me. And then my grandma told me that he is gone. My dad is gone. He is gone forever. I keep on crying and crying and crying non stop. I saw him lying down in the coffin, my heart really break.
I always feel that he will recover someday, but no.
I always blame the god, and blame him. Why must he leave me behind, why don’t he stay with us. But I know, he don’t have a choice.

I don’t dream of him that often, although I want to.
But I can never forget these two dreams. I remember in my dream, he came back to see us. But after a while, I saw him wearing his socks. I know that he want to go, he want to leave me again. I ask him, but he say no. I know he is lying. I beg him to stay, but he is gone. And when I woke up, I am crying like hell..

And the other one, just recently, in my dream, I saw someone who look alike like him. Almost the same. I ask him if he were my dad, he say no. I keep on asking and asking, and I stick to that uncle. I know I am being very silly. Actually, I always think that someday, I will sure meet someone who looks like him.

He is gone for 7 years now, exactly 7 years. The date I will never forget.

My heart broke as i was reading this post through somebody's blog. Brings us realize how gracious is God to be still preserving our love ones. Let us continue to pray for God have mercy on those who are still outside of his Kingdom.

Will be working over time until 7.00 pm for this month due to the new batch of Medical officers joining in and prolonged under manpower. As usual the HR department will never get things sorted out until the day itself and ended up in a big havoc. We have an exceeding amount of calls for this month due to all the doctors chasing for their accounts.

Want to imagine how my job feels like? Ever experienced forgetting to do your homework and rushing for it at the last minute when it is to be passed up? Now try to imagine doing that for 9 hours daily with users complaining at you on the phone and your team leader keeps screaming "QUEUE CALL! QUEUE CALL! CAN SOMEBODY PICK UP THE CALLS PLEASE?!". Average total number of calls daily: 900. Dropped calls: 70. Our service level agreement suffered heavily. I had 3 toilet breaks today, all requested and approved by TL to leave my desk.

There was a case where i received a call from a VVIP doctor who is totally furious regarding an unattended job request which includes a total of 20 doctors' accounts still pending on their first day of work. Imagine picking up people's rubbish. I was first scolded with foul language and was called to pass the line to the HR manager. Upon transferring i was asked regarding the issue and once they heard the name of the VVIP they knew they are going to die if i transfer the call and refused to allow me to transfer giving me lame excuses such as "No i'm not going to have the call transferred. You know you are not allowed to transfer user's call to id admin" where we are allowed to do so but only not allowed to give them the contact number. So in the end i was tied in between and the VVIP finally said:" HR so high class don't want to talk to me? Ok then, i'll guess i have no choice but to let Jude Law know about this issue (another freaking big shot)." Sensing something wrong i told user to hold on the line and consult my TL. He got the shock of his life to hear that it will involve Jude Law and quickly call me to transfer the case to him. It's really heartbreaking. Sometimes i wonder why should i take the blame for all the mess what wasn't my fault from the start. It's hard to believe i'm trading my self esteem for money, although i know its only a job.

Went back home after work and straight to bed without dinner.

Went back to Ipoh. Had a really great time. Started off with a pleasant stress-free drive back home with my aunty accompanying me in a sunny Friday afternoon. Home changed a great deal. My folks renovated the kitchen and my bro's got a whole new set of furniture for his bedroom... that lucky fella. Had a great time hanging out with my family doing the same old thing: the house painting never ends... well it's a great time for a little family togetherness ^^ Went to Tanjung Tualang for an afternoon feast of fresh water prawns! I can't remember the last time I went there... probably 4 years back but anyway the prawns were really delicious as they were fresh from the aquarium and they were bigger than the size of my palm"

Ex invited me out for a drink. Was fine, catched up with her. Currently working in Fatimah Hospital. Still the same old person...(- -)" attending 3 different churches and serving in 3 different ministries? hmm.... wierd.

Hometown church sucked as usual... with all the outward appearances of a cool happening church when the preaching is so shallow and hollow. Pity the youths. Just glad that i'm being given the opportunity for sound doctrine. Anyway did catch up with my "cute" little sister in church which had now turned emo T.T where is the innocent cute and adorable-looking Amanda i used to know? Sigh... people change over time. Anyway had a chat with her and gave her a few encouragements. She's sitting for her SPM in a month's time and will be keeping her in prayer.

As usual all good things must come to an end and Sunday evening came sooner than expected. Packed my things and said goodbye to my folks and bro. Was raining heavily in the middle of the highway, but reached KL safe and sound after 3 hours at 10.30pm.

Today's weather is really beautiful. Woke up today at 7.30 am and greeted by an early morning drizzle. It got heavier and rained throughout the whole morning.

Lunch was great. Was dining at this shady spot accompanied by my Ipod outside of this restaurant feeling the cold breezy air blowing and watching people passing by. Afternoons like this are really rare.

As usual some thoughts and questions flashed back in my mind. I totally have no idea what on earth is going on.

It's okay to be sad Kian Meng. Everyone does that once in a while. Just don't get too carried away ya?

Dear Madam Phang,

I really cannot imagine the pain and discomfort that you are going through. I can only imagine how it feels to be so weak until its even hard to stay awake for a moment. Every time i visit you part of me feels like weeping to see you in such a state, and i kind of feel helpless. And i wonder what will be going through in your mind. Will there be uncertainty? or is there gladness and comfort? Or maybe i'm still weary every time when i put myself into your shoes. I wonder how will i react should i be the same. But I will pray for you that you will have the strength that can only come from God for you to persevere and hold on to until you are finally called home to the Lord. May you find peace and comfort in Him even in this most unbearable moment. Thank you for bearing the testimony of a true Christian until the end. Will keep you in prayer. Farewell.

Had my lunch. Waiting for my next call, so at the mean time i'll blog a bit.

I've finally cleaned my room and moved in. Really, really happy to have my own burrow^^.

Had spent some time planning the basic layout of my room by studying and getting some ideas online and from IKEA. Rearranged the positions of the wardrobe, bed, study table and now voila: revamped the whole room into my own design and liking! Well actually the final result wasn't what i would initially expected but it's cool and simple enough for weekly maintenance and to suit my taste.

now the updates on my shifting plan:

Went to survey the areas nearby my house with my housemate. No sight of houses to let. Went back and had a household meeting. The final conclusion is:

We called the tenant and explained our situation and therefore requested for a reduction of the current rent which we are paying. Should everything goes well, we will continue to stay for a while more; probably around 3 to 4 months until both my house mates are able to afford a car then only we'll move out. The reason is the housing areas near the LRT stations are quite expensive and doesn't worth the renting prices as they are very run down and shabby. Furthermore the areas are lacking in security and are also prone to frequent house break-ins and robbery, which we already had enough.

So i'm waiting for the tenant's reply. Hopefully can get the rent lowered. Once both of my housemates get their cars, we're outta here.

Screwed up Hari Raya Monday

Today is 2nd day of Hari Raya on Monday and i'm working. I'm cool, i'm fine; but today's call rates are unusually and exceedingly high. We are getting a whole long list of call queues and today we are lacking in man power. I'm stressed to the max. Before 2 pm i had already answered approximately 34 calls, more than half of them are from some pretty lame users. They don't know what application password they want to reset and accused me for not listen properly. Some aren't cooperative enough to provide more details of their issues and expect us to be able to help them. Some didn't followed to our instructions and ended messing up their own accounts and we are to be blamed in the end. Singaporeans.

And the most stupid thing is, the office building decided to switch off the main air conditioning unit for today just because most of the companies aren't working today, leaving us stranded in a room with 12 people working on overdrive mode without air cond. The whole room is so hot and stuffy and a lacking in oxygen. I felt really drowsy and keep getting sleepy all the time.

This is just too pathetic and depressing. Totally no mood to work at all.

Really can't wait to go back.

Thank God it's Friday! And a very beautiful one indeed! Beautiful weather too: sun is shining and I'm alive and kicking^^ Nah nothing much, just that i'm glad it's approaching the weekend, which means i can get to do my second phase of spring cleaning in my room. Gonna move the wardrobe and catch those pesky remaining little "dust bunnies" hiding behind and install the new desk. Actually overall my room's fine, just that there are a few ugly patches of paint cracks and smears... probably need to hide it with a picture frame or something.

Saturday's gonna be a freaking busy day...

To-do-List:
1) clean my room
2) change guitar strings and prepare for Saturday's practise
3) jamming for 3 bands in-a-row marathon starting from 5p.m !

Hopefully able to find some time to spare in the middle and catch up with my book
