Racing fever

Had been a racing freak lately (no i don't do illegal street racing). Particularly fond of the Japan Autobacs Super GT Series. Been following the action since the starting of the season this year. Even more exciting is after catching the real life action in Sepang circuit during their round 4 race. The sound of roaring engines and blasting shifts, fire-emitting exhausts, smells of burnt rubber and exhaust fumes just gives me a whole new experience to motor racing.
The cars are a state of art great piece of engineering, able to go beyond the capabilities of their European GT counterparts and is considered as one of the fastest GT series cars in the world. One team which i'm particularly found of is the ARTA NSX (bright flourescent orange) which is representing the Autobacs Racing Team Aguri (ARTA) driven by both former F1 driver Ralph Firman and Formula Nippon driver Daisuke Ito. They are really great drivers and i really admire their skill, mind concentration and fighting spirit. Their team leader is no other than the famous dorifto king Mr. keiichi Tsuchiya (sounds familar?) and directed by former Formula 1 great Mr. Aguri Suzuki.
They are the current leaders for this season and just another 3 races left to claim for this year's champion. I am really hoping that everything will go smoothly and hopefully they could win. Go ARTA!
